business setting. This workshop provides a wonderful climate for
identifying and integrating key workgroup approaches and content.
Attendee
Benefits:
The business press is filled with reports
of re-engineering in Fortune 1000 companies. What they don't tell
you is which groupware tools and implementation strategies are successful,
and which are not. The fact is that over 65% of all re-engineering
attempts fail to meet their goals. Why is this so when there are
so many excellent tools available?.
Collaborative Strategies (CS) and PRC's
BPR group have teamed to minimize your organization's learning curve
by providing insights gleaned from years of experience with groupware.
Our convenient workshop format is customized to address the unique
business challenges YOU face...
This 3-hour workshop focuses on:
Methods to correctly identify the right
processes to engineer and how to successfully engineer those processes.
- How to choose the right groupware tools
for collaboration and re-engineering.
- 20 rules for success with groupware.
- 20 predictions for the future of groupware
and how they will effect your business, our society and you!
- Hands-on experience on a variety of groupware
tools in a collaborative business situation and supportive educational
environment.
- How to use groupware to cut product cost
and cycle time while increasing customer service, and ultimately,
improving profitability.
- How to run productive meetings and techniques
for automating meeting scheduling to avoid phone tag.
- Tips on the over 300 groupware products
on today's market, and the hardware they use.
Who Should Attend
and Why?
Groupware provides solutions to:
- Executives and managers whose goals are
impacted by productivity, efficiency, customer service and communication.
- Decision makers looking for effective
systems to maximize constrained resources while improving profitability.
The current business climate demands innovation,
change and leadership from professionals who expect to make significant
strides in the future. This workshop is designed to introduce and
guide you through the technology in a fun and stimulating manner,
and ultimately to make you and your organization more successful.
Time Commitment
Although the Groupware Tools for BPR workshop
can be tailored to fit any organization's needs, we recommend a
two-day workshop which typically begins with a morning session on
background information on groupware tools by David Coleman (CS).
Once everyone is up to speed with the tools, techniques and products
available, the second half of the day consists of facilitated meetings
to brainstorm and identify which processes are broken, which processes
when corrected, have the greatest potential for return on investment,
and which processes are having the most impact on your customer's
businesses. The second day is spent in electronic meetings gaining
consensus from all stake holders and working up a pilot project
plan. This two-day planning workshop, for up to 20 participants,
will lay the groundwork to identify an initial groupware pilot project
and a plan for how to get started quickly and successfully.
No Product Bias
and Lots of Expertise
PRC's experience as a systems integrator
has shown that no one product is the right solution for every business
problem. We also believe that people learn best when the learning
is FUN and can be directly applied to immediate business challenges.
Our goal to is present groupware business solutions as opposed to
vendor solutions.
