Analyst
for eCollaboration and Knowledge Management:
Technologies and Markets As an analyst you will examine market evolutions
and trends, new technologies and the advent of new development architectures
that directly impact business and consumer experiences. You will be
involved in research activities that will result in the publication
of CS reports to the general public, client consulting, advising and
answering inquiries and the development of exclusive reports for client
consumption only. Responsibilities:
- Scanning industry
developments; interviewing executives at technology and media companies
- Formulating
opinion based analysis and writing reports
- Answering
client and press inquiries
- Presenting
research findings at industry conferences and events
Requirements:
- Background in
Internet technologies, e-commerce and/or collaboration, project management
and KM methodologies and tools is preferred
- Minimum one year
reporting or analysis experience is desired
- Candidate must
possess strong conceptual thinking, writing and business analysis
skills and should be comfortable working as part of a close-knit team
with tight deadlines

Adaptive Technical Specialist for Start-up Environment:
A San Francisco based market research and consulting firm serving vendors
of electronic collaboration and knowledge management software seeks
a permanent F/T, high energy, team-oriented and flexible individual
to be responsible for administration of our LAN, maintenance of PC's
and network hardware, and support of collaborative technologies on this
infrastructure. There are some web site development aspects to this
position as well as the coordination of sub-contractors and technical
projects. We use a common Microsoft Office 2000 / Microsoft Exchange
software platform in a distributed work environment. We prefer candidate
with BS or technical degree and at least one year of experience with:
Windows NT, 95, 98, Microsoft Office 2000, Exchange and Front Page,
MS Access database design and implementation, and troubleshooting is
a big plus as is any experience with other electronic collaboration
and KM products. We prefer a self starter in a relatively unstructured
environment, that supports both telecommuting and in-house work environments.

Director for Growing Market Research and Management Consulting
Firm:
A current
position is available to run a small but rapidly growing firm. Content
knowledge in Electronic Collaboration and Knowledge Management is a
must, as are good leadership skills.
Duties
involve budgeting, some project management, hiring and management of
all staff, coordination of projects and resources. Strategic work in
terms of expanding services, as well as some selling and presenting
at conferences, potential clients and current clients.
The office
is in San Francisco, however because resources are geographically distributed
coordination of these resources is also a part of this position.
Compensation
